    Can you eat hemp hearts everyday?
    Absolutely! It's actually highly recommended for a healthy lifestyle. However, while the fat content in hemp seeds comes primarily from its healthy essential fatty acids, eat them in moderation to meet your recommended daily consumption of fat. High fat intake can also cause nausea or diarrhea. Hemp seeds may interact with certain medications including anticoagulants.
    Can you eat hemp hearts if you are allergic to peanuts or tree nuts?
    Yes, hemp hearts are considered allergen free. Most people with nut allergies do not react to hemp seeds, but please rely on the advice of your allergist regarding the safety of consuming hemp seeds or hemp hearts if you have a concern. Typical symptoms of hemp seed reactions are generalized hives and swelling of the lips and eyelids usually within an hour of ingestion. There is a strong association of those allergic to cannabis to have a hemp seed allergy as well.
    Can you take hemp hearts while on heart medication?

    You should also avoid eating hemp seeds if you take certain medications. The seeds may interfere with cardiac glycosides, such as digoxin. These medications help to maintain a healthy heart rate, and hemp can do the same. Combining the two may lead to bradycardia.
